with their faith on the Lord Jesus Christ."

STARTING A HEART T' HEART GROUP

Starting a Heart t' Heart Group is easy.  Here are the things you will need.

  1.  A place to meet.  This can be a home or any public building you have access to.  Suggestions are given in the pamphlet below on staring a group.

2.  An Official Meeting Format.  You can download the meeting format here.  We suggest you print the format on cardstock for durability.  A sheet protector also helps. The format is read at each meeting and tells you exactly how the meeting is conducted, making the process very simple and straightforward.  If you can read, you can lead a meeting.

3.  Heart t' Heart literature.  In our HtH meetings, we use only literature that has been approved by vote of the members at our HtH annual conferences.  These include:

He Did Deliver Me From Bondage by Colleen C. Harrison (Windhaven Publishing)
(Download free chapters from Windhaven Publishing)
Clean Hands, Pure Heart by Philip A. Harrison (Windhaven Publishing)
(Download free chapters from Windhaven Publishing)
     Alcoholics Anonymous (AA's "Big Book")
Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions (AA's "12 and 12")
     Sexaholics Anonymous (SA's "White Book")
For other suggestions, see our page on Suggested Reading.

These can be ordered from Heart t' Heart Online Store or from the organizations which publish them.

4.  A Group Registration Form.  You can download the registration form here. Please register your meeting so we know about you and can support your meeting.  If you like, we can list the meeting on our website so others can find it.  We can also send you newsletters and information about our annual meetings.

5.  Pamphlets.  Heart t' Heat has published several pamphlets to help newcomers get started.  Pamphlets also help priesthood leaders learn what Heart t' Heart is in case they want to refer people to the meetings.  Links to the pamphlets are below.  Please note the comments about printing pamphlets.  Pamphlets can also be ordered from HtH.

How to Start and Maintain a Heart t' Heart Group
(This is a useful little pamphlet to start with.)

You will also need the pamphlets below to pass out in meetings.  These are available from the HtH online store.  If you print them from the pdf files linked to the titles below, we suggest you have them printed at a competent copy shop, and print them on the colors used elsewhere in HtH.  Print front and back (2-sided) and fold the pamphlet in thirds or fourths as indicated.)
If you choose to print the pamphlets, please take care that they look nice and reflect well on Heart t' Heart and our message.  If this is not possible, please order them from Heart 't Heart.
